Some studies have revealed babies use mimicry to learn and develop certain skills like speaking. Babies’ tendency to mimic sounds is an important step in speech development, but as important as this process is, it can sometimes lead to hilarious and adorable results. In the video below, a mom sings ‘I love you’ to her baby, but when the baby tries to mimic her and sing ‘I love you’ back, she can’t quite reach the right notes or proper articulate the words.
