Close your eyes and try to picture your dream house. How does that property look like? Well, the answer will be different for everyone, but chances are many of you picture yourself living in a two-floor home, with an ocean view and possible a huge pool with a nice barbeque and a large relaxing area.
Or maybe your picture of a dream house is a large condo in a big city, with modern furniture and a breathtaking view of the city’s skyline. Well, the tiny home in the video below doesn’t match any of those pictures, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less of a dream home for the people living in it.
And it certainly doesn’t mean a lack in luxury. This tiny home measures no more than 340Sq ft., and it’s completely off the grid. But most importantly, this home was built to be completely sustainable, which means it ticks al the boxes for wasting less, consuming less and needing less.
The way we live (and where we live) has a tremendous impact on the Earth, and the tiny house movement is meant to help owners take more responsibility when it comes to the impact they have on the environment.
And with a tiny house that looks like this, it’s hardly a sacrifice. The home combines the unique aesthetic of innovative designer David Shephard and the craftsmanship and ingenuity of builder Ian Fotheringham, and it truly looks like it has everything it needs to provide owners with a comfortable lifestyle.
Would you live here?
