A young man in Malaysia got the surprise of his life when he found his missing phone full of monkey selfies. Zackrydz Rodzi presumed someone has stolen his phone while sleeping, only to find his gadget the other day in the jungle. Surprisingly, when the student checked the phone’s gallery there were tons of monkey selfies and even some videos.

It was a Saturday morning and shortly after Rodzi woke up, he his phone his gone. “I initially thought it was some kind of robbery, but there wasn’t any sign of it[robbery],” the man told BBC.”The only thing on my mind was is it some kind of sorcery.”

Rodzi started to search for his phone all over the house, but unsuccessfully. Naturally, he thought it might be gone for good, but the next day his dad spotted a monkey acting suspiciously in the backyard. So they started the search.

“I asked my brother to give a call [to my phone] while I was searching for it in my backyard,” he told THE DODO. “Then I heard the ringtone near the jungle behind my house.”

Rodzi then soon realized who the thief was, when he saw a monkey next to his phone. Even it had a few scratches, the phone did not have any internal damages though. However, the biggest surprise was when the computer science student opened the phone’s gallery. Apparently the innocent thief that took his phone wasn’t shy at all from taking some selfies and even to record itself.
The last place Zackrydz Rodzi was expecting his missing phone to turn up was in the hands of this mischievous long-tailed macaque monkey, who proceeded to capture numerous selfies

“Something that you might see once in a century,” as Rodzi wrote on social media. “That the monkey has some serious skills that need to be sharpened.”
