I’m going to be honest with you: if I’d see one of these things around my neighborhood, I would immediately start to get ready for an imminent Alien attack (which basically means I would buy a six pack and start drinking ). But, as it turns out, I would just be getting myself drunk for nothing. As bizarre as they might look, these strange eggs sacks are in fact a type of mushrooms. They are called ‘Clathrus archeri’, also known as the devil’s fingers, and they are native to New Zeeland. Well, they are definitely the strangest looking mushrooms I’ve ever seen.
