If you want your garden to be healthy and look good, then chances are you are always on the lookout for new ways to get rid of weeds so that the rest of your plants can grow undisturbed. With weather warming up, weeds are bound to show up in the garden (if they haven’t already).
Don’t worry, though, there’s an easy solution for killing weeds fast! In fact, it’s probably sitting somewhere in your kitchen right now! We’re talking about sea salt. It might sound strange at first, but if you use it with caution, it’s actually extremely efficient.
So how does it work?
Well, salt dehydrates plants and disrupts the internal water balance of plant cells. As you can see in the video below, a small amount of salt goes a long way and it will literally prune weeds from your garden.
This method works best in the case of small-scale gardening. That’s mainly because it can be more easily diluted by rain or watering.
Seal salt is inexpensive and easy to find, so there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t try this, especially if you have a smaller garden! Your plants will thank you for it.
