Dog lovers, get ready for one the cutest Christmas ad of all time

It’s a dog’s life in this adorable John Lewis Christmas add. A boxer named Buster is the star of the retailer’s festive commercial and he shines as no dog ever did before. Even a little old, the add is still one of the cutest I ever seen. So if you’re a dog lover, then you definitely need to see it!

It is Christmas Eve and Buster, the family’s dog, watches Bridget, his human sister, as she bounces up and down on her bed, hoping that Santa will bring her the present she dreams of. Her parents eventually buy her a trampoline. While she sleeps, her dad goes out in the cold, dark backyard to assemble the present. The trampoline has to be ready for Christmas morning to surprise Bridget in sweetest way.

However, during the night, in a world only Buster can spot, two foxes, a badger, a squirrel and a hedgehog sneak into the yard and bounce exuberantly on the trampoline, while the poor boxer looks on from inside the house, growling and whimpering in frustration.

When Christmas Day dawns, Bridget runs down the stairs and straight out through the back door to jump on the long wished trampoline. But only to have his surprise ruined by Buster. As always, music plays an essential role in the story. This year the ad’s soundtrack is a cover version of Randy Crawford’s 1980 hit, “One Day I’ll Fly Away,” performed by London-based electronic trio Vaults, and recorded at the famous Abbey Road studios.
