Unfortunately, the cat suffered from thyroid cancer and had to be put down. The weeks after were extremely sad for the dog that started looking for his best friend all over the house. Seeing him struggle this way, the owners decided to get him a new kitty in hopes that it will comfort his pain. The two hit it off immediately.
