Dog leaves sleeping spot empty for his best friend who passed a year ago

If there are any doubts regarding how loyal creatures dogs are, this remarkable story is proves, once again what a dog is capable of. A viral tweet, recently showed the world what a dog’s unconditional, pure love and loyalty is about!

Caitlin Wyanne, a 17-year-old woman from Cheshire, England used Twitter to share a heartbreaking photo. The image shows the incredible bond between her two dogs, Harry and George. A year ago, the 15-year-old George was put down. The moment left his best puppy friend, Larry, aged 9, heartbroken.

Now, almost a year since that moment, Harry is still missing his lifetime companion so much he continues to leave George’s favorite sleeping spot empty. “I’m full on crying. He always let George sleep there and he died almost a year ago and he still lies there,” Caitlin, the owner wrote in a tweet.

According to the owner, George became part of the family in 2004, when he was a year old. Harry was also brought in as a puppy, so the two grew up together. Since the beginning, they became inseparable. So, I can even imagine how it must feel for Harry to live without his best buddy. One thing is certain, Harry never stopped grieving George.

“We took Harry to the vets with us when George was put to sleep and [he] stayed next to him the whole time,” Caitlin told the Mirror. “Almost a year on and he clearly still misses George! He sleeps on the floor to the side of the bed now quite often but I didn’t realize why until I was looking through photos of them both from a year ago.”
