The Colorado Farmer Battles Wildfires, Saves 50 Acres Of Farmland

A farmer put his life at risk trying to save some of his crops from a wildfire that broke out in a hayfield in Weld County, Colorado a few years back. The brave man used his tractor and a set of discs to plow up a firebreak just a few feet from the blazing fire. His actions were meant to stop the fire from spreading. As a result, the farmer managed to save about 50 acres of farmland which would have otherwise turned into ashes. The fire broke out after a thunderstorm brought lightning to a rural area near Brighton, Colorado.
