Auditioning in front of the judges at American Idol is definitely an important and emotional moment for any aspiring singer. Those fighting for a place in the show need all the support they can get, and that support usually comes from family member and friends. Unfortunately, the 15-year-old contestant in the video below couldn’t have her mom by her side during her audition. The woman works in the military and was summoned to serve in the Middle East, but wanted to show her support, so she made sure her daughter gets a letter from her after her audition. Take a look:
