97-Year-Old Veteran Attends “Dunkirk” Movie Premiere. Walks Out Of Theater And Stir He Causes Makes Headlines

A veteran of the war survived the battle of Dunkirk broke into tears at the premiere of Christopher Nolan’s new film, Dunkirk. Ken Sturdy, aged 97, was seen at Westhills Cinema, dressed in a medallion coat where he watched the drama inspired by the Second World War, a drama he lived almost 80 for years.
The film, with Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance, tells the story of the nine-day battle between Allied Forces and German troops. Ken Sturdy was 20 years old when he fought alongside the Royal Navy to save the soldiers wrecked and surrounded by the German army.
