80-year-old man builds a ‘dog train’ to take rescued stray pups on adventures

Spending time with a dog is always adorable, regardless of age. Nevertheless, this senior’s love for stray pups goes beyond imagination. The 80-year-old Texas-based man decided to offer his rescued pups some adventures, so he build them the most adorable train in the world!

Eugene Bostick form Fort Worth, Texas has always been an animal lover. He lately he turned his home into a shelter for all unwanted dogs in the neighborhood. And since for a man in his 80’s life could sometimes be a little bit boring, Eugene decided to add some extra spice to it. And what a better way to do that, than riding a train full of dogs!

“We live down on a dead-end street,” Eugene told The Dodo. “People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here.[But] we started feeding them and taking them to the vet. We made a place for them to live.”

With the help of his brother, Eugene has managed to hand build a lovely train to take his furry companions on rides with it. Now, at least twice a week, the 80-year-old man takes his pack of rescue dogs on little adventures with his ‘dog train.’

“One day I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, ‘Dang, that would do for a dog train.’ I’m a pretty good welder, so I took these plastic barrels with holes cut in them, and put wheels under them and tied them together,” the man said. “Whenever these adorable dogs hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited.”
