Not everybody loves Math, especially when it’s being taught by a tough and strict professor like the one in the video below. A Vietnam vet, 70-year old Jim O’Connor is the kind of teacher you wouldn’t want to mess with.
Everything from his voice to his short haircut screams “authoritative figure.” And it’s not by accident. Jim has no desire of being well-liked by everybody in his classroom. He cares about being respected. And he cares about teens leaving his classroom knowing more about Math.
However, there is more to Jim than first meets the eye. Although he doesn’t let it show from his position as a teacher, the man is actually a deep caring individual who values love more than anything in the world.
You see, the kind teacher regularly volunteers to take care of sick children in hospitals and offer them the affection they so desperately need. Jim doesn’t have children of his own, but he actually pretty great with babies who seem to love his company.
